But ask yourself this, other than your friends in college are you connecting with others on LinkedIn?? No, obviously then how are you all leveraging this life-changing application.

You get to meet wonderful people posting their achievements, work in different fields, and who feels appropriate to you follow them and ask them for suggestions or let’s say you want to bag a huge off-campus placement, then you cannot rely on the 100 and connections that you have made because they might be looking for the same as you are. Now tell me your use with the connection you have on LinkedIn.

2) Know your competition: many don’t tell you this but the fact is that just like you many are hustling doing varied things to get to their dream places, surf what they are doing differently.

I know it might sound ridiculous and it sounds like stalking but no it is just KNOWING YOUR COMPETITION.

3) Land internships or jobs while in school: So we know this application also gives the added feature of highlighting and notifying who are hiring and providing internships and if you are desperate to have real-world experience us the same as much as you could.

At one point I was thoroughly interested in finance even though I was pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. But I found out very recently how electronics comes in handy in finance as well. So look for new things and also be open to learning. You can also get to know what is the trend in the market for your particular sector if you have eye for detail.
